	Neuro-Developmental Assessment         Typical assessment includes a parent interview, observations of your child playing in home and school environments, autism and ADHD screening, and formal neuro-developmental testing for social-emotional, communication, motor skills, adaptive skills and academic functioning.   Assessment and report will cost $650-$950

	Functional Analysis of Behaviour   Direct observation and assessment will assist in understanding the purpose of your child's behaviours. Children with ASD often exhibit non-functional or self-stimulatory behaviours. A plan will be designed for the whole family to assist your child  to modify these non-desirable behaviours in an supportive manner. The plan will include strategies for prevention and response.  A behaviour plan will cost $500-$1000

	Social-Emotional Skills Training   Social skills training uses social scripts, role-playing, and imitation games to teach the child how to interact with their peers and adults in a variety of environments.   Symetry Psychological Services encourages families to implement a picture symbol system such as PCS Boardmaker (TM) or software using photographs of emotions.   Social skills training is included in all my home-based intensive intervention programmes.

	Frontal lobe development      The pre-frontal cortex is associated with attention, planning and problem-soving skills (executive functions) and social awareness.   Symetry Psychological Services aims to incorporate activities specifically designed to encourage frontal lobe development and to improve the child's ability to generalise their new skills to other learning environments.

	Intensive Early Intervention Programmes Symetry Psychological Services - specialising in highly individualised intensive home-based interventions.       Assessment can be undertaken in your home or  in my office.   Depending on your families needs,  I can personally conduct a regular weekly session with your child, or  a monthly assessment session to check on your child's progress.   A 1-hour weekly fee is charged for programme review and supervision of the therapy team.

	Aggression Workshops   Sometimes behavioural issues (such as aggression towards others or self-injury) require special interventions.  A three-hour training workshop will cost $600

Verbal Behaviour Programmes

If implementing a verbal behaviour programme, you will need software such as Boardmaker or Pics for Pecs or Flash! Pro 2, computer,  printer, laminator, and system for organising picture cards. This will cost between $500 - $1000 to set up.     Laminating can be done at home with your own laminator.   A Copy Centre will charge about $4.00 per page.	Create a picture communication library.   You can create PECS yourself with your digital camera, or purchase a CD-ROM of images.	Need a cheap computer?
